The teams, which skate in the B.C. Hockey Female Midget AAA League, clashed three times over the weekend and the Northern Capitals earned victories in each contest. On Friday night at Kin 1, they prevailed 3-1.

In Saturday and Sunday games at the Coliseum, the Capitals picked up 1-0 and 4-2 victories respectively.

In the league standings, the second-place Northern Capitals improved to 7-3-2 while the fifth-place Rush dropped to 3-8-1. The Greater Vancouver Comets, at 9-2-1, currently sit in first place.

The Capitals will be in Victoria this coming weekend to take on the Vancouver Island Seals.
