Two more medals were earned by members of the Prince George Barracudas Swim Club on Day 4 of the 2012 Canadian Age Group Championship in Calgary.
On Sunday, Danica Ludlow hung a third silver medal around her neck after placing second in the 400 metre freestyle in four minutes, 28.42 (4:28.42) while Haley Black picked up her sixth medal, a bronze, in the 200m individual medley (2:24.76). Black also placed seventh in the 50m butterfly, 28.96.
There are 12 swimmers from Prince George at the competition which has attracted more than 1,600 athletes from more than 100 teams. Overall the Barracudas were in 19th place and fourth among British Columbia clubs.
Other Barracudas in the pool Sunday were: Patricia Fortier (sixth in 200m IM, 2:29.57; 21st in 400m freestyle, 4:45.19); Josiah Binnema (sixth in 50m butterfly, 27.23 - new P.G. record); Sava Yungman (27th in 50m butterfly, 28.06) and Ethan Godden (67th in 400m freestyle, 4:43.00).
The championship wrapped up Monday.
