The Claude's Barbershop/BX Pub Bandits need one more win to end the reign of the Westwood Pub Devils.

The Devils are two-time defending playoff champions in the Prince George Senior Lacrosse Association but find themselves in a 2-0 hole in this year's final. They are down to the Bandits, who can wrap things up Wednesday (8 p.m., Kin 1) with a victory in the best-of-five series.

On Monday night at Kin 1, the Bandits - the 2016 regular-season champs - took a stranglehold on the series when they defeated the Devils 9-5. In the game, the Bandits outscored the Devils 4-1 in the second period and that broke open what had been a tight contest. The Bandits led 7-3 heading into the third period and each team scored twice in the final frame.

On offence, the Bandits were led by Damon Calfa (four goals, two assists), Jesse Huffman (two goals, four assists), Cole Paciejewski (two goals, three assists) and Drew Doig (one goal, four assists).

Pierce Watson, Monty Jones, Scott Anderson, Spencer Ovenden and Asahel Beaudet replied for the Devils.

The Bandits won Game 1 of the series, played last Thursday, 14-11.

The Bandits rolled to a 14-1 record during the regular schedule and beat the Devils in all three meetings.
