Birds will be taking flight inside the College of New Caledonia gymnasium this weekend.
Saturday and Sunday, CNC will host the annual North Central Open and Masters tournament. Planned events are singles, doubles and mixed doubles in categories ranging from open (19-and-over) to 65-and-over.
A total of 31 players -- from Prince George, Terrace and Prince Rupert -- registered to compete.
On Saturday, matches will go from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. On Sunday, players will be back in action from 9 a.m. until noon.
