The Northland Nissan Assault rebounded from its opening-week loss to crush the Cowboy Ranch Stylers 19-8 Monday in Prince George Senior Lacrosse Association action at the Coliseum.
The Assault ran out to an 8-3 lead in the opening period and never looked back.
Leading the way for the Assault was John Makowsky with 14 points - six goals and eight assists. He was selected the game's first star.
Phil Michel tallied four goals and picked up five assists, while Dom Sia netted two goals and six assists. Max Basi rounded out the scoring with two goals and two assists.
Matt Rochon picked up three goals and three assists for the Stylers.
It was also the first time in 25 years that two women played on the same floor at the same time - Sarafina Sia for the Assault and Ashley Sidhu for the Stylers.
The Assault are now 1-1.
The next PGSLA action is tonight when the Prince George Bandits take on the Assault at 8 p.m. at the Coliseum.
