The College Heights Pub Assault are in position to play for their second consecutive championship in the Prince George Senior Lacrosse Association.
The Assault booked a spot in the PGSLA playoff final when they beat the Twisted Cork/Regional Security Stylers 17-7 Tuesday night at the Coliseum. The Assault won the best-of-five semifinal series in a sweep. Earlier, they recorded 18-6 and 20-11 victories.
In the clinching game, Dave Jenkins led the Assault with three goals and eight assists.
Tonight at the Coliseum (8 p.m.), the BX Pub Bandits -- regular-season champs this year -- will battle the Mackenzie LumberJax in Game 3 of that best-of-five semifinal.
The championship series will be a best-of-seven affair.
