The Silvertip Archers are hosting their annual Father's Day 3D Shoot where participants will be able to test their aim on a variety of foam animals set along the two courses.

In the past, people have come from as far away as Lethbridge, Alta., to participate in the two-day event. Registration begins Saturday, June 15 at 7 a.m., with the course opening at 8:30. There are 80 foam targets set up on two courses. The archery range is east on Highway 16 about seven minutes past the airport.

A two-day family pass is $80 while an adult pass is $35, youth pass $25 and children under seven free.

The boys scouts will provide lunch, while the cost of dinner Saturday night is $15. Everyone gets to barbecue their own steaks.

The 3D shoot will be attended by many of the members, about 90 kids and 60 adults, of the Silvertip Archers club.

The course is open from 8:30 to 6 p.m. both days.
