Opponents of the proposed Enbridge Northern Gateway Pipeline will be holding a rally and march on Saturday as part of a national day of action.
Defend Our Climate, Defend Our Communities rallies are planned for cities across Canada to protest increased Alberta oil sands development, proposed oil pipelines and climate change inaction.
In Prince George, the event will start at 1 p.m. at the Prince George Civic Centre and then a march will proceed to Prince George-Valemount MLA Shirley Bond's constituency office at 1350 Fifth Ave.
