A youth was forced to give up his bike at apparent gunpoint on Tuesday evening.
The holdup occurred in the park at Heritage Elementary School on Anderson Street at about 6:30 p.m. when two people approached the youth and his friends and showed what appeared to be a handgun, Prince George RCMP said.
The pair made off with a green GT Avalanche mountain bike - a male riding away on the bike and a female fleeing on foot.
The bike is further decribed as having front shocks, hydraulic disk brakes and a Ruckus sticker on it. It has a serial number of CM15M534264 and is valued at $600.
The male suspect is described as First Nations, 183 cm (6') tall, with a thin build and short brown hair with a short beard. He was wearing a black hoodie with a red dragon logo on it and blue jeans and carrying a camouflage backpack.
The female suspect is described as Caucasian, 168 cm (5'6") tall, with a thin build and a tattoo of a sunflower on her upper right arm. She was wearing a braided blonde wig with a black flower in it, short black shorts and was carrying a large brown purse.
Since June 19, 10 bicycles have been stolen from the area bounded by Fifth Avenue, Foothills Boulevard and Ospika Boulevard (west and north).
Only three have been recovered and only one was registered with 529 Garage. The registered bike was one of the three recovered.
