Young woman missing

The Prince George RCMP are requesting the public's help in locating a young woman. Cora Gilbert, 18, who had recently moved to Prince George from Bella Coola has not been seen since Monday evening.

The Prince George RCMP are requesting the public's help in locating a young woman.

Cora Gilbert, 18, who had recently moved to Prince George from Bella Coola has not been seen since Monday evening.

She is described as First Nations, 168 cm (5'6'), 59 kg (130 lbs), long black hair and brown eyes.

Gilbert has friends throughout northern B.C. including the communities of Fort Nelson, Williams Lake and Anahim Lake. and although she is believed to be in Prince George, she may have traveled to another community.

"Although police have no reason to believe foul play is involved, investigators would like to speak to Cora to ensure she is safe," Cpl. Craig Douglass said.
