Rylee Riplinger has started a gofundme for her dearest friends as their second daughter came early.

Prince George resident Rylee Riplinger’s best friends Quyn and Braden have experienced the premature birth of their second daughter Adaya and as mom and daughter are in Victoria General, their finances are stretched.

Riplinger has started a Gofundme page to help ease the financial burden for her dear friends.

On February 25, the two-pound-11-ounce baby girl was born at just 27 weeks by emergency Caesarian section at Victoria General Hospital after the couple initially went to UHNBC for treatment after Quyn just knew something was wrong.

Adaya Scottie Victoria Young is tiny but boy is she a fighter, said Riplinger in her gofundme post.

“Adaya and Quyn are doing amazing but have a long road ahead of them,” Riplinger added. “They will be in Victoria for a minimum of a month, with a longer stay at UHNBC when that time comes.”

The funds will go towards helping them with bills during this extended stay on the island, she said.

“Quyn and Braden are two of the most kind, strong, and resilient people I know, and are the first ones to lend a helping hand when anyone needs it,” Riplinger said in her post. “I am lucky to call them family.”

Riplinger has asked for a modest $5,000 and already the community has come together to raise $6,475.
