YMCA's new directors

Family YMCA in Prince George has four new directors on board following a recent election. Three-year-term vacancies have been filled by Craig Wood of Wood Wheaton, Jason Blackman of Scotiabank, Kim Hess of WorkSafeBC and Selen Alpay of Canadian Tire.

Family YMCA in Prince George has four new directors on board following a recent election.

Three-year-term vacancies have been filled by Craig Wood of Wood Wheaton, Jason Blackman of Scotiabank, Kim Hess of WorkSafeBC and Selen Alpay of Canadian Tire.

Mark Miller, CEO, said the new members further enhance the board from both the private and pubic sector in creating relevent policies to guide YMCA program delivery to children and families.

The new directors join currently serving board members Cheryl Wallace of Northern Health, Cynthia McEwan of Fraser Deacon Consulting, Mike Stevenson, RCMP, Malcolm Ogborn of UNBC, Mike Davis at city hall, Norm Schmitz , accountant, Pat Flack of Terasen Gas, Robert Traxler, a solicitor, and Peter Vogt of Vogt Mill Services who begins his second term as chairperson.
