The call is out for The Call Went Out.
The Department of Canadian Heritage is inviting Prince George residents to a free, family-friendly event, a play called The Call Went Out about the early days of the First World War.
The show is based on B.C. soldiers who wrote letters to their loved ones. The 30-minute event, hosted by the Central BC Railway and Forestry Museum, features slide shows and music of the day.
There will be a short discussion session as well where archived material from the Royal B.C. Museum will be shared.
The Story Theatre Company show can be seen Monday at 3 and 7 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 43, 1116 Sixth Ave., and Tuesday at 10:20 a.m. at College Heights secondary school, 6180 Domano Blvd.
