The 14th annual World Religions conference is set for Saturday in Prince George hosted by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama. The theme for the conference is The Object of Man's Creation, which will be moderated by Yasar Ahmad, vice president of the Immigrant and Multicultural Services Society (IMSS) of Prince George. Prince George city councillor Susan Scott will present opening remarks. Various faith communities will gather to discuss the purpose of man's creation in order to establish and maintain international peace. Faith community leaders will offer advice and recommendations for the politicians and policy makers.
The event will take place from 3 to 5:30 p.m. at the Chapel Hall in The Latter Day Saints Church, 4180 Fifth Ave.
