AiMHi, the Prince George Association for Community Living, will be holding an open house on Feb. 24 to celebrate it's role as a welcoming and inclusive workplace.
The open house will focus on strategies, and the advantages, of hiring skilled foreign and recent immigrant workers.
A workshop for employers will run from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. and feature presentations by Mayor Shari Green, Immigrant and Multicultural Services Society executive director Baljit Sethi, Welcome PG project manager Cat Sivertsen and AiMHi human resources director Keith Dennison.
AiMHi employees over 400 people in the community and was the 2010 Welcome PG Welcoming and Inclusive Workplace Award winner.
Following the workshop will be an AiMHi job fair from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. The event takes place at AiMHi, 850 Kerry St.
