WorkSafeBC and the Compensation Employees' Union announced Thursday they have ratified a two-year contract.

The agreement covers about 2,500 workers across the province, some of them located in Prince George. The deal includes wage increases of two per cent in each year of the contract, which were funded through the province's co-operative gains mandate, meaning the money for new salaries came from savings found elsewhere in the agency's budget.
