A Prince George motel has been fined after a WorkSafeBC found two of its employees repairing its roof without proper safety measures in place.
Connaught Motor Inns Ltd. was levied $3,889.08 in October, according to a posting on the agency's website.
It was a flat roof and a control zone and raised warning line were in place, but the workers were working inside the control zone without a safety monitor, and there was no fall protection plan on site.
