Work scheduled for local bridges

Expect minor delays with lane closures at the John Hart and Yellowhead bridges today.
Maintenance work is scheduled for the southbound lane on the John Hart and the westbound lane on the Yellowhead, both from 1 to 5 p.m., according to the Ministry of Transportation's DriveBC service.
Maintenance work on the northbound lane of the John Hart is scheduled for Thursday, from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Work on the eastbound lane of the Yellowhead was carried out on Tuesday.
Also, bridge maintenance work has reduced traffic to single-lane alternating on Highway 97 28 km north of Prince George from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. both today and on Thursday.
Further afield, bridge mantenance is also reducing traffick to single-lane alternating on Highway 16, 21 km west of Vanderhoof, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Sweeping from Burns Lake to the top of Priestly Hill, a 27-km stretch, will also reduce traffic to single-lane alternating until 2 p.m. today and from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday.
