Work on repairing a sink hole on Highway 97 south of Bear Lake is expected to start by the end of this week.
Once materials are on site, the effort should take about a week, depending on the weather, a Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure spokesperson said.
Single-lane alternating will remain in effect until the work is done
The sink hole emerged last week when a culvert separated about 22 km south of Bear Lake. At the time, the hole was about six metres deep.
Some work has since been done to shore up the spot.
