A Prince George woman was sentenced Tuesday to a further seven years and nine months in prison for making and sharing pornographic images and videos centred on a six-year-old girl.
The woman, referred to as JKD, has remained in custody since she was arrested in early July 2019 after a third party found the images on her computer tablet and reported the finding to the RCMP.
The images and video in question were taken while the girl was asleep, the court has heard.
Three months of the sentence, issued in provincial court in Prince George, was for a failed attempt to escape lawful custody in September 2019 when she was being transported by sheriffs to a medical appointment.
