A Tete Jaune Cache woman died Tuesday in a snowmobiling incident near Valemount, the B.C. Coroners Service said.
Felicia Ann Eaton, 54, was one of five people snowmobiling in the Small River watershed, about 60 kilometres northeast of Highway 16, when they were attempting to ascend a steep slope.
Eaton lost control of her machine, struck a tree and died at the scene. The incident occurred at about 2 p.m.
