An investigation has begun into a suspicious death in Vanderhoof from this week.
According to a release, local Mounties responded to a ‘check well-being call’ and found a woman deceased at a residence before 2 p.m. on Monday (March 9).
RCMP explain the death appeared suspicious and followed suit by calling in the North District Major Crime Unit.
Since taking over the case, the Unit believes all people involved in the incident are known to each other, but no other details are being released.
