A second person has been charged in connection with a discovery of drugs and guns during a traffic stop this summer.

Alyssa Renee Dionne faces one count each of possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a controlled substance from a June 27 pullover in the Hart as the result of an infraction under the Motor Vehicle Act. She is scheduled to make a first appearance in January.

Co-accused Anthony James Graham continues to face two counts of trafficking and one count of possessing a prohibited or restricted firearm.

RCMP allege Graham, who had recently moved to Prince George from Kelowna, was found with a loaded handgun and magazines holding about 60 rounds of ammunition and wearing soft body armour. He was also found in possession of a substantial amount of cash, methamphetamine, cocaine and fentanyl, RCMP said at the time of his arrest.

Drug trafficking paraphernalia was also found in the vehicle, police said.

Dionne was arrested at the time and then released pending charge approval.
