A pedestrian was hit by a full-sized pick-up truck Sunday morning (March 17).
Just after 10:30 a.m., Prince George RCMP frontline officers responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian near the corner of Fifth Avenue and Abhau Street.
A woman was removed from under a full-sized pick-up truck and transported to hospital for treatment of critical injuries.
The driver, a 68-year-old man and resident of Prince George, remained at the scene and was cooperative with police.
Police say alcohol does not appear to be a factor.
Mounties say the investigation is just beginning and would like to speak to anyone that may have witnessed this incident.
