A Prince George woman who has had previous run-ins with police is now facing charges for allegedly setting a fire inside University Hospital of Northern B.C.
Kassandra Marie Lee Burr, 21, has been charged with one count each of arson, assaulting a peace officer, obstructing a peace officer and uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm and two counts of breach of probation.
Burr, who remains in custody, was arrested Sunday when just after 10 a.m., thick smoke was found coming from a bathroom near the emergency waiting room. One of the Prince George RCMP members who were already at the hospital extinguished the fire and Burr was apprehended in the hospital's parking lot.
Burr has three previous convictions for assaulting a peace officer and one conviction for making a false report to police.
