Woman believed to be in northern B.C. reported missing to RCMP

Mounties in northern B.C. are asking for help in finding a missing 31-year-old woman who's believed to be working in Fort St. John.Michelle Gleeson.

Police were told on Aug. 17 that Michelle Gleeson was considered missing after her mother last spoken to her on the phone on July 19.

Gleeson was last seen in person in the Vancouver area in June and hasn't been seen or heard from since, which is considered out of the ordinary by her family.

Gleeson told family she was working in Fort St. John and living with her boyfriend, but has no known ties to the community, most of which are connected to Vancouver and New Westminster.

RCMP have been able to determine that her phone was last online in the Vancouver area on Aug. 2.

Michelle is reported to live a high-risk lifestyle. Michelle is described as:

  • White
  • 5'11"
  • 154 pounds
  • Brown hair
  • Brown eyes

Fort St. John RCMP are concerned for Gleeson's safety and wish to speak to her in person, in order to confirm her wellbeing.
