Police looking for witnesses to an alleged sexual assault.
RCMP said they received a report from a female on Wednesday at 3:20 p.m. saying a male had sexually assaulted her at the corner of Park Drive and Thompson Drive.
The suspect has been identified and is cooperating, RCMP added.
Investigators are asking that anyone who was in the area of the alleged incident between 2:45 p.m. and 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday and may have witnessed the event to contact the Prince George RCMP by calling 250-561-3300.
Police are also requesting that any residents in the area with video surveillance facing that
intersection to check their recordings during that time to see if the incident was caught on
camera.
Additionally, police ask that if anyone with a dash camera was in the area at that time could
review the footage to see if it recorded any part of the incident.
This investigation is ongoing.
