Explore your pallets with cuisine from around the world without travelling more than a few blocks during the Winterlicious event happening in 19 downtown restaurants from now until March 13.
There are 19 downtown restaurants offering up delicious treats at special prices from now until March 13.
This Winterlicious event, an initiative by the Downtown Business Improvement Association, offers patrons a chance to explore their pallets with cuisine from around the world and right here at home.
Restaurants have a chance to offer three-course meals during lunch for $12 to $20 each as well as dinner for $25 to $45.
"Winterlicious is an events focusing on the food and beverage segment of our downtown businesses," said Mary Jane Hannah, a DBIA board member sitting on the sales and marketing committee. "We are hoping to continue to build this event annually and promote to the public that we have some great establishments with great service and products in the downtown. We hope to continue to see more people out and about and enjoying the downtown area and all our members have to offer."
Participating restaurants include Cariboo Steak & Seafood, Coach's Corner, Ric's Grill, White Goose Bistro, Kalo Donair, Cimo Mediterranean Grill, Hummus Bros. Tapas Bar, Mabuhay Asian Cuisine, Nancy O's, North 54, Shogun Japanese Steakhouse, The Inn Coffee Garden, Winston's Dining Room, Amigo's Taco Shop, Rita's Place, Shooters, Zoe's Java House, The Ritz Bakery & Coffee shop LTD, Margo's Cafe. The current DBIA sales and marketing committee will be reaching out to their members to grow the committee and have more membership representation, Hannah added. The DBIA will be promoting more events that will engage all segments of their membership in the near future.
