The wind warning issued by Environment Canada earlier today has now been cancelled.
The special weather statement said gusts up to 80 km/h could be felt over parts of the central and northern interior including the northern Chilcotin, Prince George, Bulkley Valley and the Lakes, Williston and McGregor area.
The B.C. Peace River region is still under the special weather statement as high winds will sweep through overnight.
