Authorities are warning of an aggressive cow moose with two calves holding territory in the vicinity of Wilson Park. People are being asked to stay away from there.
"Police have been advised earlier this [Wednesday] morning, by dog walkers in the Wilson Park area, that they have encountered a very aggressive cow moose and her two very young calves," said Prince George RCMP media liaison officer Gary Godwin. "Police have notified [the B.C. Conversation Service] of the moose being in the area, and are now advising the public that for the time being, to refrain from walking in Wilson Park."
