RCMP are asking for the public's help in tracking down a solar-powered wildlife warning sign that was stolen from the side of Highway 97 over the weekend.
The sign was in place in the Abhau Hill area, 6.8 kilometres north of Hush Lake, in a high-collision area.
The total cost of the sign and powering system is more than $10,000, according to police.
Anyone with information is asked to call Quesnel RCMP at 250-992-9211 or anonymously leave a message through Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
