Mike Nash, author of The Mountain Knows No Expert - George Evanoff, Outdoorsman and Contemporary Hero, Outdoor Safety and Survival in British Columbia's Backcountry, and Exploring Prince George - A Guide to North Central BC Outdoors, will be in Art Space, above Books & Co., on Friday at 7 p.m. for the Grand Canyon and Zion National Parks slide show series.
The fifth annual World Community Film Festival sets down for a ten-day layover in Prince George from Friday until March 27. The festival features thirty documentary films featuring social justice, environmental, alternate living and political subjects. This event takes place at a variety of Prince George venues, including UNBC, the Indoor Farmers' Market Annex, the library, CNC and the Connaught Youth Centre.
