Lumber producer West Fraser Timber Co. Ltd. has declared a quarterly dividend.
Holders of common shares and class B shares will receive 14 cents per share, payable July 16 to shareholders of record on June 25, the company's board of directors said Tuesday.
For the first quarter, the company recorded a $22 million operating loss compared to a $35-million profit for the same quarter last year.
As of Wednesday, West Fraser common shares were trading at $47.21.
