A fire on Saturday afternoon caused an estimated $150,000 in damage to a house in the Lakewood area.
At approximately 12:50 p.m., firefighters were called to a home in the 900-block of Inez Crescent.
“First responders found a fire on the exterior of the home that had moved into the soffit and attic space. Crews quickly suppressed the fire and any extension through the attic,” a statement issued by the City of Prince George on Monday said.
No one was home when the fire broke out and no one was injured in the blaze.
The cause of the fire was under investigation, as of Monday morning.
