Wanted Prince George sexual offender may be on Vancouver Island

Prince George police are asking for help to find a man wanted for several sex-related offences from an incident that occurred three years ago.

The suspect, 38-year-old Christopher Lloyd Dixon, is believed to be residing on Vancouver Island.

In August 2017, the Prince George RCMP began a sexual assault investigation involving a female under the age of 18.

The investigation led to the BC Prosecution Service approving the following Criminal Code charges against Dixon:

  • Sexual Assault
  • Sexual Interference
  • Sexual Exploitation

In Sept. 2019, an arrest warrant was issued for Dixon after he failed to appear for court.

Dixon is believed to be in the central area of Vancouver Island, possibly near Campbell River, Black Creek or Cedar, B.C., and has a history in Nanaimo as well as 150 Mile House.

He is described as:

  • White
  • 5'9"
  • 168 pounds
  • Brown hair
  • Brown eyes
