A local man wanted for a variety of charges was arrested at a Prince George residence, thanks to help from the public.
Shaun Ray Peter, 26, was taken into custody on Tuesday night after a warrant was issued for his arrest on March 5.
Peter was wanted for assault, assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace, theft under $5,000 and breach of probation and is alleged to have committed these offences on March 4, with the exception of the theft, which was alleged to have happened on Feb. 13.
