Prince George RCMP are casting a net as far as Winnipeg in their search for wanted woman Lacey Susan Gislason, 26.

She is also known to have used the aliases Brittany Poirier and Chassity Morrisseau in the past.

Gislason was living in Prince George but was originally from the Winnipeg area, said local Mounties, and an arrest warrant has been issued for her that extends to Manitoba.

According to police, Gislason was first arrested in Prince George during a drug operation at a home in the 1500 block of Queensway in June. She was allegedly in possession of a sawed-off .22 rifle.

In August she was arrested again, this time on allegations of breaching her court-imposed conditions of release. A similar suspicion arose in September, but before RCMP could take her into custody she disappeared and has not been seen since.

"It is very possible that she has left the area, but then again she may still be around Prince George, or people in Prince George might know exactly where she is, so we would like to know about that," said police spokesman Cpl. Craig Douglass.

Gislason is described as a First Nations female with black hair and brown eyes, five-feet-seven-inches tall, and 157 pounds. Police said she has a violent criminal history and should not be approached, but if anyone has any information as to her activities or whereabouts they are asked to contact the nearest police office as soon as possible.
