RCMP are asking for the public's help in locating 32-year-old Riley Apsassin wanted for Assault Causing Bodily Harm.

Update, Nov. 23:

Apsassin turned himself in to police Nov. 21, according to an update from RCMP.

Police say Apsassin was released on an undertaking, and will appear in court Jan. 23, 2023.

The Fort St John RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in locating 32-year-old Riley Justin Apsassin who is currently wanted for Assault Causing Bodily Harm.

Riley Apsassin is described as:

  • Indigenous man,
  • 6’ (183 cm) tall,
  • 225lbs (102 kg),
  • Black hair,
  • Brown eyes,
  • Has a very large scar down the left side of his face running from his left eye to his chin,
  • Tattoo – Native on his right forearm,
  • Tattoo – Pride on his left forearm.
