The city has closed the path between 18th Avenue/Foothills Boulevard and Webber Crescent/22nd Avenue while it undergoes paving.
Cyclists and pedestrians are asked to avoid using the trail while workers from Pittman Asphalt install a three-metre wide paved path.
Construction is expected to take about two weeks, depending on the weather.
