Prince George residents are urged to create a team for the Walk for Alzheimer's.
Part of the Alzheimer Society of B.C.'s flagship fundraiser, it is set for Sun., May 3, at YMCA of Northern BC.
"The dementia journey can be isolating for people living with the disease as well as their caregivers, which is why seeing so many members of the community come together year after year is so special," said Alzheimer Society of B.C. regional manager Maribeth Friesen. "By participating in the Walk, our amazing teams show people living with dementia that they are not alone on their journey."
