Waldie earns award

Prince George's Les Waldie was awarded the fellow certified human resources professional designation by the B.C. Human Resources Management Association last week.

Prince George's Les Waldie was awarded the fellow certified human resources professional designation by the B.C. Human Resources Management Association last week.

The designation "is a prestigious title that aims to recognize the most exceptional certified human resources professionals in Canada who have made outstanding contributions to the profession of HR and their communities," the BCHRMA said in a press release.

Waldie is a past president of the BCHRMA whose resume includes postings at Northwood, Canfor and Northern Health and involvement in the Prince George Airport Authority, Prince George Community Foundation, Regional Performing Arts Centre, 2008 Seniors Games, Prince George Symphony Orchestra and the BC Festival of the Arts.
