A gun was found tucked in the waistband of a young female suspect in the cab of a stolen vehicle.
Prince George police on Sunday morning patrol in the area of Highway 16 and Boeing Road spotted a pickup they believed to be stolen.
It was almost 2:30 a.m. and the vehicle of interest was a blue, older model Ford pickup that matched the description of one reported stolen.
The pickup had three occupants when Mounties pulled them over.
"The 33-year-old male driver, 29-year-old male passenger and 21-year-old female passenger were taken into custody without incident," said RCMP spokesman Cpl. Craig Douglass. "A loaded .45-calibre pistol was located in the waistband of the female. The driver was prohibited from driving."
Those two face possible charges under the Criminal Code and are now free on imposed conditions. The 29-year-old passenger was released with no pending charges.
