The Salvation Army needs as many as 80 volunteers to string bulbs in the Tree of Lights atop the Coast Inn of the North.
They're looking for five volunteers from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and five volunteers from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. from Nov. 5 to Nov. 12.
They must be able to climb a ladder, be dressed warmly, including proper footwear (steel toe boots if possible), and must be 18 years old as The Coast requires a waiver signed by all volunteers. There will be some steel toe boots on site but there is no guarantee they will be the right size. Anyone interested is asked to call Bill Glasgow at 250-961-4029.
The tree will be raised to the roof on Monday at 1 p.m.
