Volunteers are the heart of a community and residents of Prince George are asked to help recognize those that give of themselves.
The City of Prince George recognizes the outstanding contributions of individuals annually by awarding Volunteer Recognition Awards & the Youth of the Year Award during the Civic Appreciation Dinner.
There are four types of awards including recreation award of merit, community service award, youth of the year award and outstanding volunteer award of merit. Nominations are due by 4:30 p.m. on March 5 and can be submitted to City Hall.
