Vigil for shooting victims tonight at LTM Park

A vigil will be held this evening at Lheildli Tenneh Memorial Park in memory of the people killed and injured Sunday by a lone gunman at a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida. It's set to begin at 7:30 p.m.

The City of Prince George has lowered the flags at City Hall to half-staff in recognition of the mass murder committed at a nightclub in Orlando, Florida this past weekend.

A vigil will be held this evening at Lheildli Tenneh Memorial Park in memory of the people killed and injured Sunday by a lone gunman at a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida.

It's set to begin at 7:30 p.m. at the bandshell and is being hosted by the Northern Pride Centre.

The Pride flag was also raised and then lowered to half-staff at City Hall on Monday. The city also said construction of Prince George's first-ever Pride Walk,  is tentatively scheduled to begin Tuesday on George Street in front of city hall, but may be delayed if the weather is unfavourable.
