If you're a fan of Big Brother Canada, you'll want to keep your eye out for a Prince George contestant.

Twenty-five-year-old Micheal Sutbley has been named a houseguest for the eighth season of the show

He'll be joined by 15 other houseguests, including a second northern B.C. resident in 29-year-old nurse Rianne Swanson of Chetwynd.

In his show bio on Big Brother Canada's website, Stubley is listed as a Military Infantryman with his relationship status labeled "pretty single."

It also says his military background is something he believes makes him unique for viewers to watch.

"I never thought of myself as someone that people would want to watch but I think it might have something to do with my career in the military," he told the show. "It makes me unique."

For those unfamiliar with the show, 16 contestants are in one house together which is under surveillance. They also have no internet, phone and other every day things or contact with any of the outside world during the show.

Each week, one person is voted off. The last one standing gets a $100,000 grand prize.

His family runs the Prince George Animal Rescue which is something he says he would use some of the cash prize to put towards.

"My family runs an animal rescue back home and one of the main facilities that we’re missing is an indoor dog shelter that’s heated," he added. "So, if I win, I want to contribute the money towards the shelter. I also want to take my nana to Europe, and then with the rest of the prize money I would invest."

Micheal says his biggest pet peeve is complaining while his biggest fear is not performing.

The new season begins on Wednesday, March 4.
