A Prince George man is facing 10 charges after Mackenzie RCMP allegedly found drugs and weapons in his vehicle when it was pulled over on Thursday.
Crown counsel has approved six charges of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and one count each of possession of a break-in instrument and unauthorized possession of a firearm against Reed James Sisson, 28.
In a press release issued Tuesday, RCMP said cocaine, methamphetamine, a large sum of cash, weapons, break and enter tools and a stolen rifle were found in the vehicle.
"This was a trifecta traffic stop, not only did we prevent those drugs from hitting the streets in our community, we were able to recover a stolen rifle, and arrest and charge the man responsible," said Mackenzie RCMP Sgt. Brian Donaldson. "It is great work by the members involved."
Sisson remained in custody as of Tuesday.
