Your weekend driving may have been stopped for a bit if you were driving on Highway 16 today (June 1).
Drive B.C. is reporting a closure east of Prince George as a vehicle fire this morning has blocked all eastbound traffic.
According to the agency, the incident occurred 52 km west of the Village of McBride between Road 081 Forest Service Rd. and Loos Rd.
Crews are on scene directing traffic until they can clear the highway.
The most recent update came at 9:23 a.m. and there hasn't been any since.
