A serious motor vehicle accident Sunday afternoon on Highway 97 north of Chetwynd temporarily closed the highway, but it has since been re-opened in both directions.
The accident occurred Sunday afternoon between Watkins Road and Stuckey Road (37 to 43 kilometres north of Chetwynd) and emergency crews closed a 6.3-kilometre section of the road.
There are no reports of injuries available at this time.
