Election campaign signs are being knocked over and defaced at various spots around the city. But anyone thinking of pulling the stunt should think twice - it's a criminal offence.
If you're caught, you'll charged of mischief under the Criminal Code and if convicted, carry a criminal record with all that entails, police have said. As for those found with a sign they shouldn't have, the charge is theft under $5,000, also under the Criminal Code.
